Exhibition and sale of curated local artwork is online through the summer at
¡Que Viva! is a celebration of the past, present, and future of the Taos community. Thank you so much for joining us on June 7 and 8, 2025, at Couse-Sharp Historic Site We estimate that we had at least 500 visitors on Saturday and 200 on Sunday!
Activities included the exhibition Timeless Turns: The Legacy of Tío Vivo about the historic carousel, Tío Vivo rides, open house tours of the Historic Site, educational children’s activities, local music and dance, artist demonstrations, food, ¡Que Viva! Artes exhibition and sale in the Dean Porter Gallery, antique autos on view, and a chance for one of our 21 great door prizes.
The door prize drawing was held June 11 and winners notified subsequently.
In addition to our sponsors and partner groups, we extend a huge thank-you to the event volunteers with Couse-Sharp Historic Site, Taos Lions Club, and ¡Que Viva! Community Event Committee. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Couse-Sharp Historic Site plans to present the next ¡Que Viva! event on June 12, 2027. We’ll see you there—but we hope you’ll come visit before then!

Timeless Turns: The Legacy of Tío Vivo
June 7-November 1
The exhibition of history and art related to the beloved carousel will be on view during the celebration and during open houses and tours of the historic site through November 1.
